Wing Module

The Foodmate Wing Stretcher is designed to position and stretch the wings of the bird into the right position for the following machines to work properly.
When the bird approaches the machine, the bird is facing the machine breast first. A guiding rail positions the bird. Two other rails are placed in such a way that they will slide between the bird and the wings.

Wing Module

The Foodmate Wing Tip Cutter cuts the tip from the mid wing piece. Wing Module

The Foodmate Mid Wing Cutter is designed and developed to separate the mid wing piece (flapper/ median) from the wing drummette, also known as the first joint piece. The machine cuts through the center joint of the chicken wings and can be used on chickens with or without the wing tips. The chickens are transported on shackles connected to a chain which is guided by rails. With the help of a bar, the chickens are lifted and pressed against the rails, which positions the wings in the correct angle and position. The wing centers are then cut by circular blades.
The horizontal distance between the blades can be easily adjusted with the spindle. The module height is set throughout and the height of the blades can be adjusted according to the size of the chicken.

Foodmate developed a new high yield wing cutter to better handle large birds, birds with a missing wing, and damaged birds. The machine has a very open design to allow birds with one wing, or damaged birds to easily pass through the machine without clogging the machine and stopping the line. The machine creates an anatomical cut with the option to optimize wing yield by leaving the back meat on the wing.
The design meet the latest requirements for anatomic wing cutting. The Wing Cutter can be installed into most existing Cut-up lines and on a new Foodmate Compact Cut-up System.  It contains a stainless steel frame and motor and is easy to clean with minimal maintenance required.

Wing Module

The new Foodmate AFS (All Food Service) Wing Cutter is designed to meet the latest requirements for major fast food chicken restaurants. The machine is capable of cutting both new requirements and traditional Silver Dollar style with just a minimum adjustment. The AFS Wing Cutter can be installed into most existing Cut-up lines and on a new Foodmate Food Service Cut-up System.

BREAST MODULE

The Foodmate Breast Cap Cutter separates the breast cap from the back piece. The machine gives an optimal result with a minimum loss of breast meat and can be easily adjusted to various bird sizes.
The process is managed as the broilers are hanging from the shackle conveyor and are pulled over an arbor. The covers around the circular blades also work as guides for the legs, so that the broiler is positioned correctly for the cut.
The height of the machine can be adjusted to broiler sizes by rotating the spindle.

BREAST MODULE

The Foodmate Breast Processor is designed to produce split breast or whole breast with or without back. The machine has unique design features that allows for accurate cuts and minimizes the chances of birds clogging the machine.

The Breast Processor runs birds breast first. An arbour and several guidings pick up the bird and guide them into the circular blade. The breasts are then cut and transported through the machine by the pick-up chains.

The Foodmate Halving Machine 2 removes the breastbone from a half bird and can be used on both the 8-Piece and the 9-Piece Food Service System. This halving machine has dual blades, offering a precise horizontal cut, delivering the desired cut-out.  
The lengthwise half cut chicken (done by the precutter) will run into this module, breast side first, and will be guided on the side of the hips into the module.

BREAST MODULE

The Foodmate Cross Halving Machine addresses problems commonly found with single bladed front halving machines. Using two blades instead of one large blade gives a better straight cut across the hips and gives more control over the number of ribs that stay attached to the front half.

There is no need for a Pre-cutter with the Cross Halving Machine and it contains a simple construction with no belts and easy maintenance.

The Foodmate Lengthwise Halving Machine splits the bird into two equal length halves. The machine can be adjusted to several bird sizes. Leg MODULE

The Foodmate Saddle Cutter is the optimal machine to separate leg quarters. The guiding system is designed to always give an accurate center split.

The chicken is hanging  parallel to the moving direction of the machine, with the breast in the direction of the circular blade(s) of the Saddle Cutter. Because of the movement of the Cut-up line and the help of the rails, the correct cut is realized. It can be mounted on new Foodmate lines or added to existing lines.

The Foodmate Saddle Cutter 2 with 2 motors can be used to make a single split of the leg quarters. It can also be adjusted in many ways to cut a strip of up to 5 cm out of the backbone. The chicken is hanging  parallel to the moving direction of the machine, with the breast direction of the circular blade of the Saddle Cutter. Because of the movement of the Cut-up line and the help of the rails, the right cut is realized.
The height of the blades can be adjusted by adjusting the spindles, so they can be adjusted according to the size of the bird. It can also be installed on existing Cut-up lines.

The Foodmate Leg Processor SII is designed to anatomically remove the back from the saddle to create a whole leg without a back. The unique design of the Leg Processor SII lets the saddles run straight through the machine and change direction. The back is turned from the legs. The machine can run a wide size range while maintaining an optimal anatomical cut with minimal to no adjustments. The height of the machine can be mechanically adjusted by a spindle, so the machine can be adjusted to the size of the bird. LEG MODULE

The Foodmate OPTI Leg Processor is designed to anatomically remove the back from the saddle to create a back out whole leg. The unique design of the OPTI Leg Processor lets the saddles run straight through the machine and never change direction.
The legs are pulled away from the back and there is no need to twist the back away from the hip sockets. This results in a smoother process, putting less strain on the backs and hocks, and improving yield. The machine can run a wide size range while maintaining an optimal anatomical cut with minimal to no adjustments. Since the introduction in 2011, numerous customers have installed and benefited from the OPTI Leg Processor. All have reported very positive results with significant yield improvements while reducing rework caused by bone content.

The Foodmate Tail Cutter automatically removes the tail from the back to be further processed. The Tail Cutter is designed to allow maximum yield and minimal damage to both back and tail. When the bird enters the module, the bird is guided by rails to a circular blade. When the bird passes the blade, the tail is cut off and the bird is transported to the next module. The unit can be placed in different locations in a flex or frame line.

The Foodmate Fat Puller is a stainless steel constructed, automatic fat remover. The Foodmate Unloader is designed to unload legs or drumsticks from the Cut-up shackle.  When the shackles pass the Unloader, legs or drumsticks will be unloaded by a guide bar system.  The unloaded parts can drop into a bin or on a conveyor belt.  The Flexible Unloader can be installed on current figurations or newly constructed Frame and Flex Lines.
